Hey Janine, Your a Springsteen fan also? I was there last night also. I'm sure you got a copy somehow of the new album by now before it actually comes out, but if not I have it on a CD if you need it... I was lucky enough to get tix to both upcoming shows at the Meadowlands and at the Garden...I tried to get tix to the Rehearsal show at the Meadowlands on Friday, but was unsuccesful... So I'll just go the Ranger game instead....
I don't know, I've got a problem with suspended but you can play pre-season games. You can argue that he needs to get his work in yadda yadda. But jeez, the Rangers and the Islanders play each other every other day in pre-season! He swung a stick and Hollweg head! Just seems like a bench clearing brawl waiting to happen, and so it is.
AL~ How great was that show? Candy's Room into She's the One! Seriously! I got shut out for this Friday too, but I'm in for both nights at the Meadowlands and one at MSG. I'll let you know where the tailgate will be as soon as we get it worked out.

Great show considering they have alot of kinks to work out, but it's always great seeing Springsteen in a place as small as that. How friggin hot was it in there though?
Jeez, what has happened to this once proud franchise. What a freaking disaster they are going to be this year. 25 years without a cup, ouch. I think all those 1940 chants are coming back to haunt us. It might be 55 years till the Isles win anything.

I saw the Montoya vs. DiPietro fight, it was so ridiculous. Goalies are so heavily padded it is an effort just to throw a punch.
You had to know they would dress Simon....they are the F-ing islanders.
